Terms and Conditions of Go Wild Ballooning
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions. And also check that all the information on your booking confirmation letter is correct. Please let us know immediately if anything is incorrect. Please ensure that all members of your party have been made aware of the following conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to the transaction details on this documentation. Your acceptance of these conditions is a term of supply of the services. By paying for and accepting supply of the service, you agree to be bound by these conditions. If you do not accept these conditions you should contact Go Wild Ballooning immediately and prior to accepting supply of the service.1. Definitions:
Service refers specifically to the hot air ballooning mentioned on this documentation and generally to the range of products offered by Go Wild Ballooning, including accommodation and customised activities arranged by agreement. Service refers to Go Wild Ballooning or any independent contractor supplying/delivering the services to you under the terms of your agreement with Go Wild Ballooning.
2.Booking Cancellations and Amendments - Can only be made direct through Go Wild Ballooning:
- Passengers who cancel the day before the flight or are "No Shows" on the flight morning will be charged the full amount and will not be rebooked or given a refund.
- Any flight cancelled within 5 working days prior to the flight date will incur a booking fee of $100 per person booked.
- A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 per person will be charged if the number of passengers in the booking is reduced less than 5 business days prior to the flight
- Cancelling any accommodation packages must be done in writing not less than 5 business days prior to the date confirmed. If less than 5 business days notice is given there will be no refund. If more than 5 business days is given a cancellation fee of $50 per person will be charged.
- Passengers who change accommodation package dates once confirmed will incur a $20 per person administration fee.
- Passengers who wish to upgrade accommodation packages will incur a $20 per person administration fee as well as the cost of upgrading the room. This can only be done through Go Wild Ballooning not the venue.
- If your package contains other non-ballooning activities, i.e. accommodation, winery tours or skydiving these activities cannot be cancelled if the flight does not proceed due to inclement weather. The flight portion only will be rebooked to another day. If rebooking your flight portion is not an option, then a $25- administration fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.
3. Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are valid only when full payment has been made, Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded in part or full. Certificates are transferable o other individuals and are valid only for the period indicated thereon. Once the certificate has been redeemed (i.e. the flight date has been booked) all other items relating to alteration and cancellation apply. Change of name/s not including extension of validity is $25 per person however the value remains non-refundable.
Should you need to extend your certificate beyond 12 months, reinstatement fees apply: $50 per person - 3 months extension, $100 per person - 6 months extension. *Conditions apply.
4.Flight Cancellations:
When conditions are deemed by Go Wild Ballooning to be unsuitable or unsafe to proceed, then flights may not go ahead on the scheduled date. Similarly a flight may be postponed due to less than minimum numbers being achieved. In the unfortunate event that a service must be delayed, rescheduled or cancelled due to any of the above factors Go Wild Ballooning will hold payment in credit and offer alternative booking dates. Any request for refund will be treated as per cancellation terms listed in Section 2. Go Wild Ballooning will not accept any liability for travel, accommodation, inconvenience or other costs incurred or lost through such cancellation, international, interstate and country visitors should factor the possibility of short notice cancellation into their plans. Weather conditions can also affect the duration and route of all flights in all locations. Go Wild Ballooning endeavours to give each passenger the best ballooning experience possible subject o the daily wine and weather conditions. With passengers safety always at the forefront of pilots concern a flight altered in route or landing earlier than anticipated, will be deemed as a complete flight for that day provided the flight is more than 30 minutes duration.
5. Liability:
Under no circumstances will Go Wild Ballooning be liable for direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages including but not limited to lost or damaged property, lost profits or savings or damages for disappointment.
Go Wild Ballooning may arrange for the hot air ballooning to be performed under a 'code sharing' arrangement i.e. it may subcontract another company to provide you with your flight. In such instances Go Wild Ballooning accepts no liability in connection with such services or for any loss, injury, or damage to or in respect o any person or property. Go Wild Ballooning reserves the right to alter contents or products and location when deemed necessary. Go Wild Ballooning does however warrant providing services of equal nature and value.
6.City Transfers:
Upon arrival in the Yarra Valley or if in transit to the Yarra Valley the pilot deems the weather inclement or unsafe the flight may be cancelled. If rebooking is not an option a transfer fee of $40 per person will be deducted prior to refunding any monies paid to Go Wild Ballooning
7. Rebooking Your Flight:
If your flight has been cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, please contact our reservation staff on 9890 0339 at your earliest convenience to reschedule your flight. Payment received for your flight will be held in credit and applied to the rebooking. Rebooking, must be done within 6 months of the first cancelled flight date. There will be no refunds for bookings held on our system for longer than 6 months.
8. Your Responsibility:
(a) It is your responsibility to ensure you have received booking confirmation details of your flight. Please notify the Go Wild Ballooning Office immediately and prior to your flight date if you do not have this information. You are also required to follow the check-in procedure outlined in the confirmation letter the evening before your flight. If you do not contact the duty pilot as required between 6.30-7.30pm, Go Wild Ballooning cannot be held liable for the consequences of not checking in with your pilot and receiving the latest instructions.
(b) In the interest of safety, you undertake to follow the advice of the pilot and ground crew, comply with any local codes of conduct and act sensibly and prudently at all times. You also agree to indemnify Go Wild Ballooning, its owners, officers and employees for all losses and/or damage arising from any act or default on your part or the part of a member of your party. Under no circumstances at any time during supply of the services should you or a member of your party be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, nor should you take medication that could affect or impair your judgement at this time. © Check with your medical practitioner if you have a pre-existing medical condition that may be affected by the physical nature of hot air ballooning. You agree to indemnify Go Wild Ballooning, its owners and employees against any incident related to your health occurring on or after supply of the services.
(d) Personal belongings taken on board are at your own risk.
(e) Ballooning is an outdoor adventure activity and Go Wild Ballooning cannot be held liable for damage to any clothing.
9. Credit Card Charges:
All transactions on American Express or Diners incur an additional fee of 3%. Terms and conditions subject to change without notice - June 2006
