Due to public demand, for a short time only, Go Wild Ballooning is offering midweek afternoon flights over the Yarra Valley & surrounding regions.
Cooler temperatures that we experience over our winter season will often provide us with calm, clear flying conditions. Its a combination of these factors that make afternoon hot air ballooning possible.
Forget getting up early, sleep in, relax into the day with a leisurely breakfast or lunch before meeting up with our balloon team for an afternoon hot air ballooning adventure
With snow capped Mount Buller to the north east, Melbourne CBD skyline & Port Phillip Bay to the south west, Mt Dandenong to the south & the Great Dividing Range to the east, you’ll experience the amazing changes of the seasonal colours whilst gently floating like a bird over these beautiful regions. As the sun sets over the horizon, your balloon flight draws to an end completing your afternoon hot air ballooning experience
Free in-flight photography on most flights at the pilots discretion & a Flight Certificate emailed to you via our reservations office

Valid for 12 months – afternoon flights available to book & fly until 26/08/2022
Recommended for passengers who live local to the Yarra Valley & Greater Melbourne as this flight package is strictly non-refundable
If your flight is cancelled by our pilot, we email you a Rebooking Link so you may reschedule and fly on a better day
Passengers who have not completed their afternoon flight before 26/08/22 will have the remaining validity period automatically transferred to a midweek sunrise / morning flight with a one hour flight duration. When rebooking you may select to fly midweek over the Yarra Valley or Geelong
Your pilot will determined the flight area after evaluating the weather to provide you with the best flight experience
Transferrable to other passengers, fees apply
No weekend upgrades available
Pending availability we will accept and confirm bookings up to 11:00am on the flight day
All aviation activities are weather dependant, so no flight can be 100% guaranteed
The balloon will not be flown under the minimum take-off weight

Until further notice CYH is not open for bookings on a Monday or Tuesday evenings.
Accommodation is not weather affected. If your flight is cancelled by our pilot you are still required to proceed with your confirmed accommodation commitment & adhere to Chateau Yerings T&C’s & cancellation policy.
